Business About - Cristian Capelli

Cristian has been part of the Nokia phones story since 1998, when he worked for a Nokia R&D supplier in Italy as an intern. He later joined Nokia as an engineer in 2001 and, over the next two decades, held a number of roles in sales, marketing and product marketing, which took him from Italy to New York, Miami, Sao Paulo, and San Diego.

Since joining HMD Global at the very beginning of its journey in December 2016, Cristian helped set up the business in Latin America, including production in Brazil and Argentina; most recently he has been an integral part of HMD Global’s carrier and unlocked expansion in the U.S. and Canada.
