Getting started

  • You can visit our online store (link) and order your HMD Mobile plan when buying any Nokia device.

  • Creating an account lets you keep track of your orders and manage your plan online. Our Privacy Policy and any additional privacy information made available to you govern the use of your personal data.

  • When your payment is successful, you will get an order confirmation with tracking information from our courier partner. Using that tracking link, you can see the expected day of delivery.

  • There are a few ways that you can activate your plan.

    Option 1

    To activate your HMD Mobile SIM, call the number “1200” using your HMD Mobile SIM and follow the instructions given.You will receive confirmation a few minutes later.

    Option 2

    Download our HMD Mobile App (available on Google Play). You can also access the HMD Mobile web app at hmdmobile.hmdglobal.com. 

    Log in to the HMD Mobile app with the credentials created during the order process. Locate and click the “ACTIVATE” button next to the relevant SIM ICCID number. Follow the instructions on your screen. You will receive confirmation a few minutes later.

    Please note that you should only activate your plan using this option if you have already received your SIM card. If you activate your plan before your SIM card arrives, your plan will start before you get a chance to use it.

    Option 3

    If you have ordered a replacement SIM for an existing plan Download the HMD Mobile App (available on Google Play) Log in to the HMD Mobile app with the credentials created during the order process. Enter the 19-digit ICCID number printed next to the barcode located on the back of your SIM card.

  • Your PIN can be found on the original packaging of the SIM card. You can also access your PIN and PUK codes at any time from My Account.

  • Your phone number will be included in your welcome message when you activate your plan. You can also find your number in My Account.

  • Yes. Before we can transfer your number, we will need your PAC code. A PAC code is usually made of three letters and six numbers. You can get this from your existing operator and it will be valid for 30 days. If it expires, you can request another one.

    Option 1: You can request to keep your existing number and provide your PAC code when you order your new HMD Mobile connection.  Option 2: If you want to switch to HMD Mobile at later date, you can login to My Account on the website or mobile app and fill in the form under MNP > Port-in 

    Once you provide your PAC code, we will move your number between Monday and Friday, usually within 2 working days.

  • Your SIM Card will expire and be disconnected from the service if you haven’t purchased any plans for your SIM card for a continuous period of ninety (90) days.

  • You HMD Mobile account will remain active for as long SIM card remains active.

  • Please contact a member of our support team from the Mobile App.

  • Voicemail is already active for your SIM. No setup is required.

  • Simply dial 1233 to listen to your messages or change your voicemail settings at any time while you are in UK. You can access your voicemail from any other phone number by dialling +447973 101 233 and entering your voicemail pin.

  • You can set up your pin by dialling 1233 using your SIM and selecting Option 3. Please note that you will need to set up your PIN before leaving the UK to be able to access your voicemail abroad.

  • To disable voicemail, disable all Call Forwarding from your phone settings.

  • To enable voicemail, enable Call Forwarding to +447973101233 from your phone settings.

  • HMD does not store your credit or debit card information. Your card information is forwarded to a payment processor in a secure way. If your card is not working, please contact your bank or card issuer.

  • You can track your order from the order confirmation email. You can see the estimated delivery date from our partner courier when you click the tracking link. If you see that order is being returned or not being delivered after the date mentioned on the courier tracking website, please contact HMD customer care through My Account, our website or the HMD Mobile app.

  • If you don’t see any network connectivity on your phone, try restarting your phone. Also, make sure that “network selection” mode is set to “automatic” and that you are in a UK general coverage area. If you don’t see any network services for up to 2 hours from first use, please contact HMD customer care through My Account, our website or the HMD Mobile app.

  • Usually, the activation process takes between a few mins to 2 hours –  HMD usually sends you an activation confirmation via text message. If you are unable to use your plan or make calls, please restart your phone and make sure the “network selection mode” is set to “automatic” and that you are in a UK general coverage area. If you still have problems, please contact HMD customer care through the HMD Mobile app.

  • Your PUK code can be found on the original packaging of your SIM card. Your PIN and PUK codes can also be found from My Account.

  • Before we can transfer your number, we will need your PAC code. A PAC code is usually made of three letters and six numbers. If you want to switch and keep your existing phone number, text ‘PAC’ to 65075 to begin the process.Your existing provider will reply by text within a minute. They will send you your switching code, called a ‘PAC’, which will be valid for 30 days. Their reply must also include important information – such as any charges that you have to pay if you’re leaving your contract early; or your credit balance, if you’re a pay-as-you-go customer.

    You can log in to HMD Mobile app and check if there is any information you need to correct. You can re-submit the port-in form again if needed. We will confirm the port-in date as soon as we verify your port-in details.

  • To complete the transfer of your phone number from another operator, your device with the HMD Mobile SIM needs to be in the UK at the time of transfer. If this is not possible, you can login in to HMD Mobile app to contact customer support.
